Declaration of Independence

A solo performance by Kata Juhasz, Hungarian dancer, and choreographer.
The first, American version of Declaration of Independence was conceived and inspired by the city of Philadelphia where the Declaration of Independence – resulting the USA- had been published in 1776.
This performance articulated in verbal speech and in movements simultaneously is a short and personal reckoning with some historical outlook on the possibilities of an authentic artist willing to preserve her independency in a politicized public life on the shifting borderline of the EU.
